There is much more to this place than just Citadel!
Hiii everybody!
Just to keep you updated, here's a short resumee of the events of last week: On Wednesday we had a meeting with the archaeologists @the Cetatea, for me it was the second one because I had already checked the place with Ricardo before, but anyway we learned even more about the diggings and stuff. At some point I felt like a mountain goat because we had to climb up and get down again (we climbed to the former bastions). There can be found amazing things there, we saw animals bones and jaws (they said it was from a cow) and even parts of cannon balls!!!They showed us other places where they dig and told us about their plans to make a theatre in the citadel, a fantastic idea:) So, there is much more to the Citadel than just being old and a ruin - it IS an adventurous place! Later in the afternoon, we had to plan on the website and met a romanian volunteer. And of course during the whole week I had to check the visa invitations for the workcamps, sending out mails, calling embassies all over Europe (like Ucraine and Belarus- Spassiwa!) and being messenger running to the post every day posting letters to exotic countries like Macedonia or Serbia. I find it interesting:D Of course we further developed our activities. On Friday some people had another meeting with the archaeologists to find out more practical information about workcamp teams, digging venues and digging procedure from an archaeological point of view. We had a meeting where Ricardo & Co. explained us the results in detail!
