2nd Easter trip continued
Hunedoara: described as a rather dull industrial town (which is true!), with the only attraction being Castelul Corvinilor, a real knights dream!!!On our way dozens of roadsigns led us to this fairytale castle, really a-m-a-z-i-n-g!Our plan was to go until Sarmizegetusa in the Orastie mountains, the heartland of Dacian civilization, but time was short, so we decided to go only until Densus (passing by Hateg). Densus is reknown because of its church, which is a historical treasure! This Christian church was built out of Roman stones, they used any stones they could find, including columns, with inscrptions, sculptures of lions, etc. And inside, there are really old religious frescoes... I never thought I would find something like this in Romania! On our way back, we stopped again in Cluj, had another look around the city and bought some accessoires. I have to say that I enjoyed more the tiny places like Aiud or Densus, preferring them even to Cluj, the famous city!!!Yeah that was our very interesting trip:)))
